RONALDIHNO former World Player Of the Year has signed an extension to his contract with Atletico Mineiro, the Brazilian's side President announced.
Alexandre Kalil said via twitter: " Supporters are very demanding and he has extended the contract as he just loves them "
The 33year old class act , a World Cup Winner with Brazil in 2002 and a winner of Copa Liberatadores with Atletico last year, was due to be a free agent after this year and had been a target for Turkish side Besiktas.
Brazilian Press Reporters claimed that the Istanbul outfit had offered the former Paris Saint Germain, A.C.Milan, Barcelona Player an annual salary of 6Million Euros ($8.2m) to sign for them. He then moved to Atletico, from Flamengo in JUNE2012.
