UNESCO REPORT : Indian poor kids illeterate despite education

Indian poor kids illiterate despite 4 years of education: UNESCO Report

In India, 90 percent of children from poor families remain illiterate despite completing four years of school education. Also, around 30 percent of children reach the illiteracy rate even after attending five-six years of school.

Other than this, only 44 percent of rural students in Maharashtra and 53 percent student in Tamil Nadu in Std V age group could perform two digit subtraction sums.

These are just a few to name among the many alarming findings in UNESCO's 11th Education For All (EFA) Global monitoring report. IT clearly depicts that though progress is taking place, most EFA goals to be achieved till 2015 are being missed. As per the report, the speed of achieving universal primary education, lower secondary education and youth literacy is woefully slow in various nations.

Keeping India in mind, the report said that though the rich young women have already achieved universal literacy, the poor are projected to reach there only by 2080. Reporting on the financial education trends, for all the nations, the report states that: "Around the world, governments are grappling with ways to reallocate their education budgets to those children most in need. Allocations per child still do not adequately reflect the costs of delivering quality education to the marginalized."

According to the report, in India analysis, Kerela being one of the wealthier states, spend merely 685$ per child on education. The figure is only 100$ in Bihar.

The reports have suggested that one of the new EFA goals after 2015 should be setting a target for all countries to allocate at least six percent of the GNP to education and at least 20 percent of the total government expenditure on education.

India has been in the list of those 10 countries that have progressed very fast in being able to reduce the children drop-out rate in recent years, but it has also created a learning crisis. Nearly 250 million children across the globe fail to learn the basics, one-third of which are based in South and West Asia.

The progress is too slow especially for the disadvantaged. Mathematics remains a struggle for many. The gaps between rich and poor states in India is widening day by say. Besides this, poverty decreases the chances of students continuing school education for a long time. In U.P. only 70 percent of poor kids make it Std V, whereas in MP only 85 percent of poor kids attend schools compared to 96 percent in rich children.

Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas

 Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas

The first Li-Fi smartphone prototype was presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 7–10 in 2014. The phone uses SunPartner's Wysips CONNECT, a technique that converts light waves into usable energy, making the phone capable of receiving and decoding signals without drawing on its battery.

LG will debut its new 77-inch curved OLED Ultra HD TV.

Samsung unveiled its curved TVs with two series of concave TVs.

Laser diodes were unveiled at the CES Show that are going to be used for high beam headlights in Audi vehicles. The high beams will be lasers, though the low beams will be light-emitting diodes.

 Audi Sport

The car maker says that their high beams have a 500-meter range, which is roughly twice the distance of LED high beams.

Lasers are expensive though. Lasers are smaller, brighter and more energy efficient than LED headlamps.

Their laser headlamps use less than half the energy of LEDs. Laser diodes can emit 170 lumens per watt, while LEDs generate only 100 lumens. Lasers are sensitive to heat but that has not stopped their production for vehicles. Laser technology is not as advanced compared with LEDs, which have been around for decades.

Audi Sport quattro

Toyota debuted its first zero emission car which is powered by fuel cells. The Sport Quattro Laser Light uses two trapezoidal headlamp elements per side.

The outer ring comprises a matrix of LED low beams with an aperture mask. The inner segment uses laser diodes to generate the laser light. Audi says the laser beams can reach 1,640 feet (500 meters) or a third of a mile. Audi says that’s twice the range and three times the lumosity (brightness) of LED beam headlamps. Audi board member Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg said the  headlamps “leave all previous systems in the dark.” That assumes there’s no snow, fog or rain in your path, or oncoming cars that don’t allow for high beams.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the laser beams

It’s unclear when laser headlamps will arrive in the US. The Department of Transportation has a history of sloth, all in the name of protecting the public from technologies the feds are slow to grasp: any headlamp other than round 5.25- or 7-inch, replaceable-bulb headlamps, xenon headlamps, headlamps with lenses and sharply defined cutoffs, LED headlamps, and steerable headlamps.

The feds even have a rule regulating the minimum size of a turn signal lens that’s holding up an Audi LED sequential turn signal (Ford gets away with sequential turn signals because the first lens is big enough on its own).

Audi Matrix

European automakers have headlamps that can sense oncoming cars and mask the light reaching that car, allowing for medium- or high-beam driving all the time, and that’s in limbo, too. The BMW i8 won’t be offered with laser headlamps in the US.

The DoT can’t control the racetrack and if you’re an endurance racing fan, you’ll see Audi laser headlamps there in the coming year on the 2014 Audi R18 e-tron Quattro LMP1 racecar.

About the Audi Sport Quattro

The Laser Light version of the Audi Sport Quattro is an adaptation of the Sport Quattro concept car shown at last September’s Frankfurt Auto Show.

The sport sedan combines outrageous power with a nod to efficiency in the form of a hybrid powertrain. There’s a twin-turbo V8 representing the traditional engine technologies. To that Audi adds a start-stop system, cylinder deactivation, an eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive (it is an Audi) and mechanical torque vectoring to overpower the outside rear wheel in a turn. There’s also an electric motor and a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Audi claims it’s capable of 94 US mpg (2.5 liters per 100km) when you factor in the extended battery.

The combination is good for 700 hp, 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, a top speed of 190 mph, and 31 miles on battery power alone, making this like a Chevy Volt only quicker. And with laser beams.

RELATION_SHIP ---- NeceSSitY oR DeSirE

Relationship: A Necessity or A Desire

For me this question can never be answered as having a relationship can be a necessity for one person and the same time it can be a desire for the other person.

Being in a relationship is like living in a heaven ,if it is a success…and if not then it can even ruin your life like hell. Sometimes it is a desire, for those who are single and see other couples, at least for once; a thought strikes their mind that it is good to be in a relationship.

This thinking develops because of the inferiority complex among those who are not engaged in such sort of things. Teenagers feel inferior in their peer group for not having any relationship. This provokes them and also creates a desire among them for having relationships. Sometimes “a need of physical gratification” also develops a desire among teenagers and youths to make relationship. For some, it’s just a means to the gratification of their physical urges.

It is the result of the thinking of people which sometimes leads to the wrong deeds. Having a relationship is a sign of being on a higher level or having respect of friends and mates in their peer groups. It can also be a way of passing time and having fun.

Relationship isn’t a game of a play station where a player only with powers will win the game or the player having Remote-1 will dominate; rather it’s a game in which there are two players with the trust, love, care, possessiveness, understanding, emotional intimacy, and commitments use them all as their powers for proving themselves or for winning the game of relationship.

It’s not about passionate loving i.e. only physical intimacy. It’s not about saying only “I LOVE YOU”; it’s about understanding the feeling that how much the other person loves you. It is not about kissing, exchanging gifts, and giving hugs to each other.

It is about understanding the feelings whether your partner is sad or not, the reason behind their sadness, the reason of the tears, the source of that smile, the reason of their happiness, converting their weaknesses into strengths, converting negativity into positivity, making them believe in themselves, telling them about all the rights and the wrongs and to withstand in their support. It is actually about trust, care and understanding.

Sometimes, it becomes a necessity for an individual. As a result of being rejected by their family, their friend circle and others, they feel that they need someone to share their pain with, their happiness, there has to be someone who could understand what he/she feels like (the feelings), and can find a solution of their problems.

As a result of not being loved, they try to be in a relationship so that they can also get the deserving love, care, and respect from which they have been deprived of. All this provokes them to be in a relationship. Sometimes they feel that except the love and care of the family and friends, there should be some special love, and care to make them feel special for living a life (the way they want it to be).

RELATIONSHIP is neither good nor bad. It just depends on the way you want it and the reason why you want it. Some wants it because of the gratification of their physical needs and some wants it because of the need of the true love and care.

Indeed, we can’t say that being in a relationship is a necessity or a desire and i.e. why the question will remain the same and unanswered that whether “RELATIONSHIP IS A NECESSITY OR JUST A DESIRE???”…

!!! Positive and Negative !!! Point of View !!!

Is the glass half empty or half full???

People talk about others being negative and positive.Or boast about themselves how Optimistic they are...What does it actually means !!!
No one knows that...Or do anybody have an idea...
Saying I'm Positive about everything doesn't mean you are positive or proving someone wrong about a fact or discussion doesn't makes you right !!!

""You can't prove that he/she is positive or negative, until or unless you prove that you are positive or negative--->to yourself ...""

So actually , the thing is...as most of you would have heard-"Glass half full and Half empty" !!!!
I bet you have... But there are not so many , who understands it  properly...

""Point of view"" that's what matters. On that sometime its the only thing that matters.

So we can say that , it is us who had to decide each and everything happening around us.Only our point of view that matters to us.We can take advice from others apply a little bit but in the end we mostly do what makes us happy or through which we can get satisfied !!!
Its only me who can make myself happy ! No one can...You had to be like that...Cause in this cruel world we can't expect too much from anyone.

"TOO MUCH EXPECTATIONS MAY MISLEAD US DISGUISE US OR EVEN CAN RESULT IN ME AGAINST MYSELF"
I know you would say don't be pessimist take a look what positive we can get or have via connecting through others , taking advice from them . Absolutely right you are , but just think back or take a moment from your past where someone did something for you that just can not be ignored.Of course exceptions are there but what i'm saying is you had to be prepared for anything because
 LIFE IS FULL OF SURPRISES
And in the end you are left with yourself...anyhow or somehow...It is bound to happen...You mainly had to take care of yourself  for what you are !!! No one else can do better than YOU !!!

So always BE+ about yourself,your thoughts,things you do,people you meet,life you had,what you want,what you get,what you have,stay optimistic stay happy !!!

Don't remorse or guilt or feel bad of what wrong you had done, what could have been done, how could you prove yourself, never think about whether you are wrong or right...Just do what you want to do,what has to happen it is bound to happen...U can't change your fate...You can just improve on it !!!

So,
Enough said and done for now...we will discuss everything that can keep you interesting !!! :)
Just I need is you Feedback !!!
Leave it in comments !!! I'll be glad to see them !!!
I'll reply or even we can help each other to live a better and improved life :)
Lotzzz of Love :) Live WELL ...Live HEALTHY ...Live LONG :)

"Remember...YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT UNTIL IT HURTS SOMEONE"
"DISCUSS IT ALL"

`Lamborghini Facts,Figures and Wallpapers`~`You must know and see`

Yeah you heard it right !!!

Favorite of many of you The BeAsT Lamborghini will be opened up today here on Everything Interesting...

But if you don't know what and why i'm calling it a Beast  : cLicK me for WallpaperS of its LOGO

HERE are the things YOU must be AWARE of -->

I..The only place in the world where a Lamborghini will not be a rare sight is Sant'Agata Bolognese, a small administrative division 32 km from Bologna. This place is home to Lamborghini, the Italian sports car maker.

II..The founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, was fond of Ferraris, but found them too noisy for regular use. Once, he realized that the clutch of his Ferrari was broken, and found that it was the same clutch he uses in his tractors. When he approached Ferrari for a replacement, the company told him he was a tractor maker and knew nothing about sports cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

III..The first Lamborghini was the 350GTV from 1963. It was extremely fast for its time with a top speed of 280 km/h. In 1964 a smaller version of the 350GTV appeared. The smaller version was called 350GT and had a top speed of 240 km/h. The Countach from 1974 was the first Lamborghini to go faster than 300 km/h.
IV..Lamborghini used to be an independent company, but today it is a subsidiary of the German company Audi AG. Audi AG became the owner of Lamborghini in 1998. Lamborghini went bankrupt in 1978 and was sold to Chrysler a long time before Audi AG became the sole owner of the company.

V..In 1975 Walter Wolf, a rich Canadian businessman and F1 racing team owner, persuade Lamborghini to produce three super powered Countach models. The Wolf Countach had the same engine as the original Countach prototype and were able to reach a top speed of 315 km/h.

VI..No Lamborghini have ever been produced with less than a V8 engine. Most of the Lamborghini models throughout the history of the company have come with the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine, but the newest model, Gallardo, only have a V10 engine. No Lamborghini models with a V8 engine have been since production of the Silhouette stopped in 1989.

VII..The company produced a record 2,430 vehicles in 2008. Of this, nearly 1,800 were the best-selling car, the Gallardo, and just over 630 of them were the flagship model, the Murcielago

VIII.The fastest Lamborghini is the Le Mans version of the Murcielago R-GT model. It has been reported to have a top speed of 370 km/h. The fastest street model from Lamborghini is the Murcielago LP640 with an estimated top speed of 340 km/h. Both of the models have a V12 engine with more than 6000 cc.

IX..Lamborghini has topped the Murcielago with a new version, the Murcielago SV. SV stands for "Super Veloce" meaning "super-fast". It costs 300,000 euros.

X..The entire car is made of carbon fibre, except the steel roof and the doors.

XI..Several of the newer Lamborghini models feature the familiar Lamborghini scissor doors that rotate up and forward on a hinge near the front of the door. The Countach, the Diablo and the Murcielago all have scissor doors, but the Gallardo does not. Both the Countach and the Diablo are no longer being produced, so the Murcielago is the only current model with scissor doors.

XII..Ferruccio Lamborghini chose the bull logo for Lamborghini because his sun sign was Taurus. The cars, too, are named after fighting bulls, such as the Miura, the Diablo, the Gallardo and the Murcielago.

XIII..Lamborghini provides two Gallardos to the Italian state police, which uses the cars for delivering organ transplants to patients.

"Ferruccio Lamborghini was a successful tractor manufacturer .His interest in sports cars made him buy many different high-performance cars including both Maseratis and Ferraris, but he was never really happy with any of them and therefore decided to built his own, perfect sports car...."
 SO WE GOT THE LAMBORGHINI
